HIGHLIGHT
ACTIVITIES

Regular conversations - Supporting students in their next steps

At the Secondary level, students begin to find their direction, discover their preferred learning styles, and adapt to new challenges along the way. That’s why end-of-term Parent-Teacher Conferences are so important: they create a meaningful space for families and teachers to come together, reflect on each student’s growth, address any challenges, and explore how to unlock even more of their potential.

Through these valuable conversations, we are reminded once again how much we value the trust and partnership of parents. Even more inspiring is seeing our students step up with confidence — sharing their reflections on their journey so far and their dreams for the road ahead.

The musical “The Best Pet Show Ever” filled the CIS stage with laughter, vibrant colors, and adorable performances by our students from Grades 1 to 3. More than just performing, each class radiated team spirit through every line, every song, every move — all under the warm, encouraging eyes of parents and teachers.

Spring Concert was a journey of growth, nurturing confidence, teamwork, attentive listening, and self-expression in every child. Whether it was their first time performing or they’ve been on stage before, each child walked away with a memory of their own — and that’s exactly what CIS celebrates and nurtures on their learning journey every day.

How MBTI helps CIS students navigate their learning and career journey

Self-discovery is a lifelong journey — one that’s not always easy, especially when big decisions about the future lie ahead. With the goal of supporting students along this path, CIS recently hosted “Mindset Meets Major”, a heartfelt event featuring candid conversations with CIS alumni who shared their self-discovery journeys – seen through the lens of MBTI.

Beyond the insights shared, what resonated most was the strong sense of community at CIS. Over the past 15+ years, our school has built a thriving alumni network — one that continues to mentor, support, and inspire the next generation, empowering students to move forward with confidence.
